Copying Data From One Line or Field to Another

To copy an entire line of information, move your cursor to the line you wish to copy and hit <Ctrl-Insert> or select Copy from the Edit menu. Then move to the line where the copy is desired and hit <Shift-Insert> or select Paste from the Edit menu.

To copy information from one field (cell) to another, select the field and hit F2. Select the data with the mouse, or hit <Ctrl-Home>. Hit <Ctrl-Insert> to copy the information to the Windows clipboard. Move to the field that the information needs to be copied to, hit F2, and then hit <Shift-Insert>. NOTE: Data can be copied in this manner only from an editable field to an editable field.
