In Time Line for Windows, press <Shift-F1> and notice the question mark that appears at the mouse pointer. Now click on almost any area or button of the screen to invoke help text that describes that area or button. Also, clicking on a field, form or window usually causes it to be selected. If it is a form or a window, we also say that selecting it makes it active. Pressing <F1> usually invokes help text that's associated with the selected item. (This Windows feature is called context-sensitive help.) When finished with a help text window, close it by just pressing <Alt-F4>, or double-click on the gray control box in the upper-left corner of the help window.
Move the mouse pointer up to a screen button, click on it and hold down the mouse button. Notice that a short description of the button's function appears at the very bottom left corner of the screen. Pull the mouse pointer away from the button before you release the mouse button to avoid invoking the button's function.
